The Crafter
Our most economical model is also where our break-through began.
Like everyone else, we started salvaging pallets using conventional wood working tools and were just frustrated. After a lot of testing, and trial, and error, (and splintered wood) we finally isolated the geometry that salvages the most pallet boards with the least splintering and least physical effort.
We also came up with a design slender enough to slip between pallet boards that are quite closely spaced, and yet strong enough to stand up very nicely to stubborn boards.
Not satisfied with that, we then tackled the issue of stubborn nails that sometimes stay behind (and the sore knees that come along with them.) Some more testing and prototypes resulted in the built-in nail puller that solved both problems!
The result: the CRAFTER pallet popper.
